On grounds of rising fuel costs and the desire to reduce its carbon footprint Wilfreda Beehive has invested £50,000 in a web-based vehicle tracking system for its entire vehicle fleet. In order to detect fuel wastage, the new tracking system from Masternaut Three X produces reports to show if vehicles are left running and for how long.
Operating with more than forty coaches and buses to numerous destinations throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe, Wilfreda Beehive and sister company Eagre needed a system that enables the companies to monitor monitor driver efficiency, fuel usage and vehicle location, record driving and/or working hours, and enables two-way communication.
According to the marketing manager, Peter Scholey, the tracking system gives an accurate birds-eye view of exactly where the team members are and what they're doing at any time. Monitoring the workforce ensures that things run to plan.
