France: BMW announces new prices for telematics; offers unlimited internet

BMW is now offering unlimited internet access for 90 Euros for the lifetime of the vehicle (no additional subscription charges.) The vehicle needs to be fitted with a Professional Navigation system with an active telematics subscription.

Internet access will be available in both the in-dash navigation system and also on the rear seat entertainment systems if fitted.

The other telematics services (eCall, bCall, Google search etc.) will be available for free for 1 year in conjunction with the Business Navigation System and free for two years with the Professional Navigation system.

After the free period, and extension will cost 180 Euros for 1 year, 330 Euros for 2 years and 470 Euros for 3 years.
