Alltel Wireless to offer LBS Nationwide Roaming

US - Alltel Wireless provides a network enhancement that gives costumers a nationwide access to GPS applications.

Alltel Wireless Users with GPS-capable handsets now have the opportunity to use navigation and location-based applications nationwide. Alltel expanded the network of LBS applications to 45 more major areas and offers navigation tools, directions to POIs and location-based service for the Internet or mobile phones. The use of LBS applications is settled with standard roaming fees.
