Under "Blaupunkt Telematics" the Blaupunkt Group is now advancing into a new business field. Following a successful restructuring process carried out by its shareholder, the AURELIUS Group, Blaupunkt is now back on a course headed for growth. Addressing a new, dynamically growing market segment, this devision will offer professional telematics solutions.
Experienced in the field, the new managing director Norbert Schaiger looks forward to move Blaupunkt into an excellent position in the market. "Blaupunkt stands for the highest in ‘Made in Germany' engineering skills and based on this firm foundation, we are able to meet the widest range of different demands made on reliability, quality and innovation in German production."
According to CEO of the Blaupunkt Group, Raimund Zündorf, the transmission of telematic data inside and outside of the vehicle is an excellent match to the Blaupunkt brand product range to date and constitutes an important enhancement of our competence. Blaupunkt was originally formed as a company called "Ideal" in Berlin in 1923 and became famous by the mark of quality used internally for its headphones - the blue dot.
