VIENNA, Austria - A1 customers get current and comprehensive traffic information via HEROLD Wisepilot from A1, which includes valuable data about the situation on Austria’s highways and A-Roads.
A1 Navi now connects to HEROLD's database, where customers can receive a routing, which is based on names and telephone numbers. Up to date it is possible to get information about roadworks, last-minute blockings and traffic jams. This function is based on the ASFINAG's traffic information, which includes place and the current traffic situation ("free", "close", "slow moving" or "jam"). You will be informed about the reasons such as accidents, roadworks or blockings. You can recall the data via Internet at http://www.wisepilot.at/a1.
