French Insurer goes “Pay as you drive”

Octo Telematics signed an agreement with French Group Goupama's new company Amaline Assurances to provide vehicle telematic solutions via web or phone.
With the launch of Amaguiz, the new generation “Pay as you Drive” insurance, Amalie Assurances offers extremely competitive rates and allows the client to pay according to the kilometers driven. The data is tracked through GPS by the on-board telematic platform Clear Box and forwarded via GPRS mobile network to the Octo Telematics’ Multiservice center.
The elaborated information is made available to the insurance company sharing it with the insurance policy holder. Developed and managed by Octo Telematics, Amaguiz also features a range of value added service option to choose: the crash management in case of car accident, including a precise crash dynamics reconstruction together with real time assistance service and recovery of stolen vehicles in case of theft.
