TWIG launches real-time GPS tracking

According to an announcement of TWIG Mobile Telematics, GPS real-time tracking will be available on all its TWIG safety and tracking devices as well as the TWIG WebFinder service

Streaming the GPS location of the mobile device over the cellular network (GPRS), the TWIG WebFinder service or a compatible custom tracking system, real-time tracking updates the location of the TWIG mobile device every few seconds on the street map display.

Using the TWIG WebFinder tracking system, GPS real-time tracking is easily operated with all TWIG devices, with the locations shown on detailed street maps in more than sixty countries worldwide. Real-time tracking is a standard feature in the new TWIG Protector safety device, the TWIG Discovery Pro safety phone and the TWIG Locator tracking device (from firmware release 014).
