NAVTEQ launches speed & red light camera locations in US

Illinois-based GIS provider NAVTEQ has announced that speed and red light camera locations are now available for the NAVTEQ® map of North America.

Inccluding up-to-date information about the exact location of speed limit cameras, red light cameras, as well as combined speed and red light, mobile and fixed cameras in 5,000 locations throughout North America, NAVTEQ Camera AlertTM content is also associated to the NAVTEQ map

When combined with NAVTEQ's speed limit information, this content can enable navigation systems to warn drivers about changes to speed limits or locations of speed limit and red light cameras.
