Intrinsyc and NAVTEQ sign multi-year agreement

Intrinsyc Software International and NAVTEQ signed an agreement for multi-year map distribution bundling NAVTEQ map content with Intrinsyc navigation software.

Intrinsyc formerly purchasing Destinator Technologies' GPS-related assets and patents provides with this relationship a single source for NAVTEQ digital maps, Destinator navigation software, and the Soleus software platform for wireless handheld development, as well as Intrinsyc's wireless engineering services - including systems integration, Board Support Package (BSP) development, and power management for wireless device makers.

According to Intrinsyc's vice president & general manager for mobile products & development, the agreement strengthens the company's relationship with NAVTEQ, and also provides a great platform for long-term business growth.
