Google doubles Street View coverage in the US

Google expanded its Street View coverage to more US cities and states, including Memphis, Birmingham, Charleston, Maine, West Virginia, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Filling a few gaps across the US, the team doubled Street View's coverage. 2008 was Street View's first year, already expanded to France, Japan, Australia, Spain, Italy and New Zealand.
