Acacia subsidiary signs licence agreements with Air-Trak and Telogis

Telematics Corporation, a subsidiary of Acacia Research has announced a patent licence agrrement with Air-Trak and Telogis.

Relating to systems and methods for displaying mobile vehicle information on a map, the Telematics' technology can be used in navigation and fleet management systems combining wireless communication with GPS tracking and mapping.

These agreements resolve patent litigation that was pending in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In the past couple of months, the company has settled a string of similar disputes by entering into patent licence agreements with Horizon Technologies, Datatrac, GPS Insight and Cemtek Com.
