TomTom WORK launches LIVE connected services for US fleets

Launched in the US by TomTom WORK, the WORK Active solution is a connected nav solution for businesses offering LIVE services as well as enhanced fleet monitoring and reporting capabilities.

With TomTom WORK Active, TomTom adds real-time services, including TomTom Traffic, to its connected navigation solution, comprising of three integrated products:

• TomTom WEBFLEET - an easy-to-use, intuitive, online application for fleet and order management that presents performance measurements critical to the operations of a commercial vehicle fleet. Gives managers a single overview of valuable information and trends.
• TomTom GO 7000 - a connected nav device specifically developed to meet the requirements of professional drivers operating in a commercial vehicle fleet. The GO 7000 features real-time traffic and intelligent routing, time and order management, two-way communication, hands-free via BluetoothTM, TomTom Help Me! emergency menu, and text-to-speech technology. Other LIVE services include automatic delivery of real-time information such as TomTom Fuel Price Service, Local Search powered by Google, TomTom Weather, and QuickGPSfix.
• TomTom LINK 300 - the easy to install and reliable connection between office and workforce. TomTom LINK 300 is a GPS-receiver and a GSM-/GPRS-module in a single unit, comes with an integrated GPS- and GSM-antenna and Bluetooth for connection to the TomTom nav system.

The TomTom WORK Active solution will be available from October 1st.
