New Mio devices feature Tele Atlas maps

Mio's new line of GPS devices features Tele Atlas digital maps and content. The Mio Spirit navigation software delivers user-friendly map views and faster POI searches.

Mio Moov S556, Mio Moov S300, Mio Moov S500 and Mio Moov S700, the GPS devices for North America are pre-loaded with maps of the US and Canada, more than 12 million POIs, Text-to-Speech (spoken street names) in three languages offering additional languages available for download. The sytem also include Tele Atlas® Brand Icons, which visually represent the POIs of participating businesses as instantly recognisable logos.

The flat-panel Mio Moov S556 will also incorporate Tele Atlas® Junction Views, which clearly displays complex intersections by showing the areas in 3D, using arrows to indicate the proper driving lanes.
