AMI India launches Falcon-i real-time fleet tracker

American Megatrends India's (AMI India) recently launched vehicle tracking system brand, Falcon-i, was developed in India and will be manufactured at AMI India's factory in Chennai and rolled out across the country.

The GPS/ GPRS enabled dual mode control and communication system offers multiple input and output control and reporting formats for easy and flexible fleet monitoring:

* Geo-fencing and immobiliser options
* Easily tracked route deviations and excessive speeds
* Fuel consumption
* Journey times

According to Subramonian Shankar, president of American Megatrends Inc, the company expects India's vehicle tracking market to grow beyond the current US$35 million.
