Five companies have been officially confirmed by the Brazilian government regarding Resolution 245, which requires the installation of GPS-tracking systems in all new cars by December 1st, 2010.
More than 350 companies currently provide telematics services in Brazil, but only five of them were able to pass the highly demanding certification process:
Octo Telematics, Infrastructure Provider
Cobra Brasil, Infrastructure Provider
SASCAR, Service Provider with Infrastructure
ZATIX, Service Provider with Infrastructure
Controle Monitoramento, Service Provider
